Guess who’s back?
April 20, 2010 – 12:47 pm by TimSo as I mentioned to you dimwits, Ning.com is going to start charging for their little page. Since I lose enough money on Thursdays and shell out $10 a year to own this domain anyway, we’ll be transitioning back to here.
As you may or may not remember, each of you has a Thursdaypoker.com email address, which is Gmail. Zig and I are the only ones who use it; but you all have accounts with logins. By using those logins, you will be able to create calendar events such as the one listed to the right. Hopefully by sending out email ‘invitations’ to events, it will work the same way to keep a tally of who is in and who is out.
Since most of you have never logged in, I’ll have to send you your temp passwords again. I’ll look them up later.
EDIT: In the meantime, you should have gotten an email invitation for this week’s game. In the email, you can click ‘yes’, ‘no’, or ‘maybe’.
I’m trying to figure out a way to make it automatically display attendees, but I have not as of yet. If you don’t like it, suck I dick.

Not sure how to respond on the calendar, but I should be there this Thursday. The “musty poker” did automatically update on my Google calendar and the Droid, which was perty kewl.

I’m still trying to find the best way to do it. For you, it will automatically go to your calendar, and if you accept, your status is updated. For others, they need to click on the link in the email that went out.
I’m trying to figure out a way so it is all pretty much contained to the website, but I have not gotten to that point yet.
It would be a perfect setup if everybody used gmail.
